经过近70年的辛勤耕耘，中非关系正处于历史最好时期。面向未来，我提议，将中国同所有非洲建交国的双边关系提升到战略关系层面，将中非关系整体定位提升至新时代全天候中非命运共同体！

Thanks to nearly 70 years of tireless efforts from both sides, the China-Africa relationship is now at its best in history. With its future growth in mind, I propose that bilateral relations between China and all African countries having diplomatic ties with China be elevated to the level of strategic relations, and that the overall characterization of China-Africa relations be elevated to an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

Special Representative Liu Xianfa will, on behalf of the Foreign Ministry, have communication and coordination with African countries and the African Union as needed, promote dialogue and cooperation, and make active effort for the building of the all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

Mao Ning: This year marks the 70th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between China and African countries. President Xi Jinping and African leaders agreed to designate 2026 as the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges. Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit four African countries and attend the launching ceremony of the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges at the headquarters of the African Union. This is a continuation of Chinese foreign ministers’ 36-year tradition to begin each year with a trip to Africa. Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania and Lesotho are China’s strategic cooperative partners. Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit aims to deepen political mutual trust between various parties, implement the follow-up actions of FOCAC Beijing Summit, facilitate the exchange and mutual learning between the two great civilizations, and inject fresh impetus into the building of an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

中方期待通过此访，同赞方一道加速推动落实两国元首达成的重要共识和中非合作论坛北京峰会成果，深化政治互信，拓展互利合作，促进共同发展，密切在国际和地区事务中的沟通协调，为构建新时代全天候中非命运共同体作出更大贡献。

China looks to working with Zambia through the visit to accelerate the implementation of the important common understandings between the two presidents and the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit, deepen political mutual trust, expand mutually-beneficial cooperation, promote common development, have closer communication and coordination on international and regional affairs, and make greater contribution to building an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.
