Fifth, efforts to boost coordination in multilateral fora. Embracing 26 countries from three continents, the SCO family is a constructive force that carries important global influence. With our commitment to the purposes and principles of the U.N. Charter, and our enhanced communication and coordinated actions, SCO member states will better rally the developing world in promoting a more just and equitable global order.

面对国际秩序变局，中国是定盘星。联合国风雨兼程80年，国际体系变革按下快进键。面对时代发展大潮，有人极力踩刹车，有人试图开倒车，而中国的选择是面向未来，携手各方共建人类命运共同体，推动国际秩序朝着更加公正合理的方向发展。

Facing a changing international order, China acted as a defining force. The United Nations has traversed 80 years, and the reform of the international system is picking up speed. Reacting to the trend of the times, some slam on the brake, and some attempt to reverse the course. China has chosen to embrace the trend by working with all parties to build a community with a shared future for humanity and making the international order more just and equitable.

Guo Jiakun: BRICS is an important platform for cooperation among emerging markets and developing countries and source of strong impetus for multipolarity and greater democracy in international relations. The platform is widely recognized by Global South countries. We welcome more like-minded partners to join BRICS cooperation and jointly work for a more just and equitable international order.

第四，面对单边霸凌逆流，中国将坚定做正义的力量。我们将隆重纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年，弘扬正确历史观，坚持真正的多边主义，坚定维护以联合国为核心的国际体系、以国际法为基础的国际秩序、以联合国宪章宗旨和原则为基础的国际关系基本准则。办好上海合作组织“中国年”，支持巴西举办金砖峰会和气候变化大会，支持南非举办二十国集团峰会，推动国际秩序朝着更加公正合理的方向发展。

Fourth, China will be a firm force for justice in the face of the countercurrents of unilateralism and bullying. We will hold solemn commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese aggression and the world anti-fascist war, promote a correct view of history, uphold true multilateralism, and firmly safeguard the international system with the U.N. at its core, the international order underpinned by international law, and the basic norms governing international relations based on the purposes and principles of the U.N. Charter. We will effectively fulfill the role as the SCO rotating chair, support Brazil in hosting the BRICS summit and the U.N. Climate Change Conference (COP30), support South Africa in hosting the G20 summit, and work for a more just and equitable international order.
