Combining the Great Strength of the Global South to Build Together a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

无论国际形势如何变化，中国始终心系“全球南方”、扎根“全球南方”，支持更多“全球南方”国家以正式成员、伙伴国、“金砖+”等形式加入金砖事业，汇聚“全球南方”磅礴力量，共同推动构建人类命运共同体。

No matter how the international landscape evolves, we in China will always keep the Global South in our heart, and maintain our roots in the Global South. We support more Global South countries in joining the cause of BRICS as full members, partner countries or in the “BRICS Plus” format so that we can combine the great strength of the Global South to build together a community with a shared future for mankind.

中国“十五五”已经开局起步。作为世界上最重要的和平力量、稳定力量、正义力量，中国愿同所有爱好和平、致力发展的国家和人民一道，落实全球发展倡议、全球安全倡议、全球文明倡议、全球治理倡议，推动构建人类命运共同体，共创世界和平发展的美好未来。

China has entered the 15th Five-Year Plan period. As the world’s most important force for peace, stability and justice, China stands ready to work with all peace-loving countries and people committed to development to advance the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative to jointly build a community with a shared future for humanity and create a bright future of peace and development for the world.

我们继续敞开胸怀拥抱世界。上合组织天津峰会、全球妇女峰会成功举办，海南自贸港全岛封关运作。为更好应对气候变化，我国宣布新一轮国家自主贡献。继“三大倡议”之后，我提出全球治理倡议，推动建设更加公正合理的全球治理体系。当今世界变乱交织，一些地区仍被战火笼罩。中国始终站在历史正确一边，愿同各国携手促进世界和平发展，推动构建人类命运共同体。

We continued to embrace the world with open arms. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Tianjin and the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women were very successful; and island-wide special customs operations were launched in the Hainan Free Trade Port. To better address climate change, China announced new Nationally Determined Contributions. After announcing the three global initiatives on development, security, and civilization, I put forward the Global Governance Initiative to promote a more just and equitable global governance system. The world today is undergoing both changes and turbulence, and some regions are still engulfed in war. China always stands on the right side of history, and is ready to work with all countries to advance world peace and development and build a community with a shared future for humanity.

第三，我们将为构建周边命运共同体作出更积极努力。构建人类命运共同体是中国外交的崇高目标，是需要不懈努力、持续推进的历史进程。周边是推动构建人类命运共同体的关键。

Third, we will work more actively to build a community with a shared future with neighboring countries. This is a noble goal of China’s diplomacy and a historical process that requires relentless and continuous efforts. Our relations with neighboring countries play a key role in advancing this endeavor.
