Let us foster a pattern of universal security with joint contribution for shared benefit. We need to uphold the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and we need to stay committed to settling disputes through dialogue, resolving differences through consultation, and enhancing security through cooperation. On its part, China will follow a distinctly Chinese way of addressing hot spot issues and play a constructive role in safeguarding peace and security.

——我们要建设“和平金砖”，做共同安全的维护者。人类是不可分割的安全共同体。只有践行共同、综合、合作、可持续的安全观，才能走出一条普遍安全之路。乌克兰危机还在延宕。中国和巴西会同有关“全球南方”国家发起了乌克兰危机“和平之友”小组，旨在汇集更多致力于和平的声音。我们要坚持“战场不外溢、战事不升级、各方不拱火”三原则，推动局势尽快缓和。加沙地区的人道主义形势持续恶化，黎巴嫩战火又起，相关各方间的冲突还在进一步升级。我们要推动尽快停火、停止杀戮，为全面、公正、持久解决巴勒斯坦问题不懈努力。

—We should build a BRICS committed to peace, and we must all act as defenders of common security. We humans are an indivisible community of security. Only by embracing the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security can we pave the way for universal security. The Ukraine crisis still persists. China and Brazil, in collaboration with other countries from the Global South, initiated a group of Friends for Peace to address the crisis. The aim is to gather more voices advocating peace. We must uphold the three key principles: no expansion of the battlefields, no escalation of hostilities, and no fanning flames, and strive for swift deescalation of the situation. While the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, the flames of war have once again been rekindled in Lebanon, and conflicts are escalating among the parties. We must promote an immediate ceasefire and an end to the killing. We must make unremitting efforts toward a comprehensive, just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian question.

第一，坚持共识引领，强化对非洲反恐国际合力。各国应秉持人类命运共同体理念，践行共同、综合、合作、可持续的安全观，尊重非洲国家在反恐问题上的主导权，支持非洲人民以非洲方式解决非洲反恐问题，与非洲国家齐心协力、并肩反恐。恐怖主义没有好坏之分，反恐不能采取双重标准，不能搞选择性反恐，更不能将反恐问题政治化工具化，借反恐谋求地缘私利。

First, it is important to follow a consensus approach and build synergy for counterterrorism in Africa. Countries should realize that we are in a community with a shared future. Therefore, we need to embrace common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, respect the leadership of African countries in counterterrorism, support African people in solving Africa's issues in an African way, and stand with African countries in fighting terrorism. There is no such thing as good terrorism or bad terrorism. In the fight against terrorism, one should avoid double standard, or a selective approach. Still less should one politicize counterterrorism issues, or capitalize on them to seek selfish geopolitical gains. 

我们要建设和平安宁的未来。当今世界变乱交织，风险挑战层出不穷，没有任何一个国家能够独善其身。国际社会加强团结合作不是选择题，而是必答题。各国应秉持共同、综合、合作、可持续的安全观，以对话解争端、以协商化分歧、以合作促安全。大国尤其要作出表率，以计利天下的大胸怀打破地缘政治小圈子，以立己达人的大格局超越冲突对抗小集团，做世界团结的“推进器”、国际和平的“压舱石”。

Countries of the world need to build a future of peace and tranquility. In this changing and turbulent world, new risks and challenges keep cropping up. No country can stay unaffected. Greater solidarity and cooperation of the international community is not a choice, but a must. Countries should uphold the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and settle disputes through dialogue, resolve differences through consultation and enhance security through cooperation. Major countries, in particular, should lead by example. They should break geopolitical circles by pursuing the greater good, rise above bloc confrontation with a broad vision for mutual prosperity, and serve as propellers for world solidarity and anchors for international peace.
