我们要建设公道正义的未来。各国无论大小、强弱，都是国际社会平等一员。国际上的事情要由各国商量着办。要推动平等有序的世界多极化，维护以联合国为核心的国际体系、以国际法为基础的国际秩序、以联合国宪章宗旨和原则为基础的国际关系基本准则。要强化国际法治权威，抵制恃强凌弱的丛林法则，反对单边制裁等霸权行径，维护发展中国家正当权益，推动国际关系民主化，捍卫国际公平正义。

Countries of the world need to build a future of fairness and justice. All countries, regardless of their size and strength, are equal members of the international community. International affairs should be handled through consultation by all countries. We need to build an equal and orderly multipolar world, and defend the U.N.-centered international system, the international order based on international law, and the basic norms of international relations underpinned by the purposes and principles of the U.N. Charter. We need to strengthen the authority of international rule of law, reject the law of the jungle where the strong bully the weak, oppose acts of hegemonism such as unilateral sanctions, protect the legitimate rights and interests of developing countries, promote greater democracy in international relations, and uphold international fairness and justice.

在国际军控与防扩散领域，中方始终坚持真正的多边主义，坚定维护以联合国为核心的国际体系和以国际法为基础的国际秩序，认真履行各项国际义务和承诺，以实际行动维护国际军控与防扩散体系。

In the work of arms control and nonproliferation worldwide, China has remained committed to true multilateralism, firmly safeguarded the international system with the UN at its core and the international order based on international law, earnestly fulfilled its international obligations and commitments, and taken concrete actions to uphold the international arms control and nonproliferation system.

一是坚守多边主义。国际形势越是变乱交织，越要坚定维护以联合国为核心的国际体系、以国际法为基础的国际秩序，坚定维护国际公平正义。《联合国气候变化框架公约》及其《巴黎协定》，是国际气候合作的基本法律遵循。要秉持法治精神，重信守诺，锚定绿色低碳发展，通过多边治理共同应对气候危机。

First, we must adhere to multilateralism. The more volatile and turbulent the international situation becomes, the greater the need for us to firmly safeguard the U.N.-centered international system and the international order underpinned by international law, and firmly safeguard international fairness and justice. The U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Paris Agreement are the legal cornerstone of international climate cooperation. It is important for all countries to champion the rule of law, honor commitments, prioritize green and low-carbon development, and jointly respond to the climate crisis through multilateral governance.

中文在联合国等多边平台的广泛运用，是中国同联合国合作日益深化的缩影。自80年前在联合国宪章用毛笔签下首个中文汉字以来，中国始终坚定捍卫联合国宪章宗旨和原则，维护以联合国为核心的国际体系，支持联合国在国际和平与发展事务中发挥重要作用，深化文明交流互鉴，促进世界和平发展。

The extensive use of the Chinese language at multilateral fora such as the UN is an epitome of the deepening China-UN cooperation. Eighty years ago, the Chinese delegates were the first to sign the UN Charter using a Chinese calligraphy brush. Since then, China has firmly defended the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, upheld the UN-centered international system, supported the important role of the UN in international affairs and the effort for peace and development, deepened the mutual learning among cultures, and promoted world peace and development.
