第二，专注发展的亚洲需要更好坚守五项原则。过去数十年亚洲保持快速发展，得益于地区国家践行正确相处之道，始终平等相待、互尊互利、共促稳定。未来亚洲要实现更大发展，我们仍要坚持与邻为善、与邻为伴，反对阵营对抗、“小院高墙”，更多汇聚发展合力。

Second, a stronger commitment to the Five Principles is required in a development-focused Asia. Over the past decades, Asia has maintained rapid development, because countries in the region have always followed the right way to get along. We have treated each other as equals, fostered mutual respect and mutual benefit, and jointly promoted stability. For Asia to achieve even greater development, it is imperative that we continue to pursue friendship and partnership with our neighbors, oppose bloc confrontation and “small yards with high fences,” and increase the synergy for development.

林剑： 金砖国家作为新兴市场和发展中国家合作的重要平台，倡导开放包容、合作共赢，不搞阵营对抗，不针对第三方，为的是实现共同发展、普遍繁荣。中方愿继续同金砖伙伴一道，深化各领域务实合作，为世界经济持续稳定增长作出更多贡献。

Lin Jian: As an important platform of cooperation for emerging markets and developing countries, BRICS advocates openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, not bloc confrontation, and does not target any third party. The aim is to realize common development and prosperity. China stands ready to continue working with BRICS partners to deepen practical cooperation in various fields and make more contribution to the sustained and steady growth of the world economy.

中方始终认为，大国竞争不符合时代潮流。遏制打压、阵营对抗不得人心，相互尊重、合作共赢才是国家间的正确相处之道。

China always believes that major-country competition runs counter to the trend of the times, and containment and suppression as well as bloc confrontation will win no support. Mutual respect and win-win cooperation is the right way for countries to get along with each other.

毛宁：在和平与安全问题上，中国是纪录最好的大国。中国的发展是和平力量的增长，是稳定因素的增强。我们希望北约深刻反思所作所为对欧洲安全架构的影响，深刻反思挑起阵营对抗带来的后果，纠正对华错误认知，停止抹黑中国，停止煽动对抗。

Mao Ning: China is the major country with the best track record as regard to peace and security. China’s development is a boost to the force for peace and stability in the world. We hope that NATO will take a hard look at the impact of what it has done upon Europe’s security architecture, deeply reflect on the consequences of creating bloc confrontation, have a right perception of China, stop smearing China and stop inciting confrontation.
