第二，专注发展的亚洲需要更好坚守五项原则。过去数十年亚洲保持快速发展，得益于地区国家践行正确相处之道，始终平等相待、互尊互利、共促稳定。未来亚洲要实现更大发展，我们仍要坚持与邻为善、与邻为伴，反对阵营对抗、“小院高墙”，更多汇聚发展合力。

Second, a stronger commitment to the Five Principles is required in a development-focused Asia. Over the past decades, Asia has maintained rapid development, because countries in the region have always followed the right way to get along. We have treated each other as equals, fostered mutual respect and mutual benefit, and jointly promoted stability. For Asia to achieve even greater development, it is imperative that we continue to pursue friendship and partnership with our neighbors, oppose bloc confrontation and “small yards with high fences,” and increase the synergy for development.

四是坚持公平正义。弘扬正确二战史观，反对冷战思维、阵营对抗和霸凌行径。维护以联合国为核心的国际体系，支持以世界贸易组织为核心的多边贸易体制。倡导平等有序的世界多极化、普惠包容的经济全球化，推动构建更加公正合理的全球治理体系。

Fourth, we should uphold fairness and justice. We must promote a correct historical perspective on World War II, and oppose the Cold War mentality, bloc confrontation and bullying practices. We should safeguard the U.N.-centered international system, and support the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core. We should advocate an equal and orderly multipolar world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, and make the global governance system more just and equitable.

王毅外长强调，当前国际形势变乱交织，中德、中法作为世界主要大国，理应加强战略沟通协作，共同践行多边主义，反对单边霸凌，抵制阵营对抗，为世界注入更多确定性和可预测性。双方要落实好元首共识，增进理解互信，保持开放合作，加强人文交流，妥处矛盾分歧，推动中德、中法关系持续稳定发展。今年是中欧建交50周年，当前形势下中欧加强战略合作正当其时。中方乐见德、法作为欧盟核心大国，带动欧盟实现战略自主，树立客观、理性、正确的对华认知，妥善处理中欧经贸分歧，共同促进中欧关系向前发展。

Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that in a turbulent and rapidly changing world, as major countries, China, Germany and France have every reason to strengthen strategic communication and coordination, jointly practice multilateralism, oppose unilateralism and bullying, oppose bloc confrontation, and provide more certainty and predictability for the world. We need to implement the common understandings reached between the leaders of the countries, enhance understanding and mutual trust, maintain open cooperation, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchange, properly handle differences and disagreements, and promote the sustained and steady growth of China-Germany and China-France ties. Since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-EU diplomatic ties, it is most opportune to enhance strategic cooperation between the two sides under the current circumstances. China is happy to see Germany and France, the core major countries of the EU, drive the EU towards strategic autonomy, and encourage the EU to form an objective, rational and correct perception of China, properly handle its economic and trade differences with China, and jointly move China-EU ties forward.

Mao Ning: BRICS is an important platform for cooperation among emerging markets and developing countries. It advocates openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation. It is not a bloc for confrontation. Nor does it target any country.
