Today, the China-ASEAN relationship has gone far beyond the bilateral scope and taken on great significance for Asia and the world at large. President Xi Jinping pointed out that China will continue to honor the principle of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness, and join hands with regional countries to build a peaceful, safe and secure, prosperous, beautiful, amicable and harmonious Asian home. China would like to work side by side with ASEAN to pursue progress and development in solidarity and jointly create a better Asia in the future.

Friendly ties between China and Malaysia is an epitome of the robust growth of relations between China and neighboring countries. In recent years, China and neighboring countries have enjoyed deepening friendship and mutual trust, increasingly entwined interests, and fruitful practical cooperation. This has injected stability and certainty into a complex world landscape, greatly contributed to the lasting peace and stability and fast economic growth in the region, and benefited people from regional countries, which receives wide support and recognition. In a few days, the People's Republic of China will celebrate its 75th anniversary. Over the past 75 years, the hardworking Chinese people have created a Chinese miracle that has riveted the attention of the world. Especially since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, China has witnessed historic achievements and historic changes in its development. We are proud of what our country has accomplished, and are fully confident about its future. Right now, China is working to build itself into a great modern socialist country and to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through a Chinese path to modernization. This will bring huge opportunities to the rest of the world.
