Fourth, efforts to cultivate stronger emotional bonds. Our region is home to diverse and splendid civilizations, where different nations and cultures have interacted and converged with each other throughout the course of history and coexisted in harmony. This has been the source of popular support for cooperation among SCO member states. We need to further promote mutual learning among civilizations and cultural exchanges so as to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the people of SCO member states.

“和羹之美，在于合异”。中文是穿越历史的载体，更是通向未来的桥梁。我们期待更多人以中文为桥读懂中国、读懂世界，也愿同各国一道，以对话破除对立，以包容消弭分歧，携手构建人类命运共同体，书写“各美其美、美美与共”的文明互鉴新篇章。

As an ancient Chinese saying goes, “It’s the combination of different ingredients that makes the soup delicious.” A language is a vehicle of history and more importantly, a bridge to the future. We hope that more people will be able to use Chinese as a bridge to read and understand China and the world. We are also ready to work with countries around the world to bridge divisions through dialogue and approach differences with mutual accommodation, to form a community with a shared future for the world, and promote together the diversity and vibrancy of its civilizations.

我们要划好人文交流的船桨。中国和马来西亚相互给予对方国家公民免签待遇。2024年，两国人员往来近600万人次，超过新冠疫情前水平。“马来西亚，亚洲魅力所在”这句广告语道出了马来西亚文化、历史、风光的独特妙处，吸引众多中国游客前往休闲观光。同时，越来越多马来西亚游客到访中国，领略丰厚“古风”和斑斓“今韵”。中马两国人民要像走亲戚一样常来常往，促进人文交流和文明互鉴，增进彼此特别是青年一代相知相亲。

We must fuel the engines of people-to-people exchanges to propel our ship of friendship forward. China and Malaysia have mutually granted visa exemption to each other’s nationals. The year 2024 saw nearly 6 million mutual visits between the two countries, which exceeded the pre-COVID level. “Malaysia, truly Asia,” the tourism promotional ad that highlights the unique charm of Malaysia’s culture, history and landscape, has inspired numerous Chinese tourists to visit Malaysia for leisure vacations or sightseeing. More and more Malaysian tourists are traveling to China to appreciate its historical legacy and experience its contemporary vibe. I hope our peoples will visit each other as often as family. Our two countries must promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges so as to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between our two peoples, especially the younger generation.

王毅外长强调，我们将以人类前途为怀、以各国福祉为念，做国际合作的践行者、文明互鉴的推动者、人类命运共同体的建设者，以更加积极有为的姿态参与国际人权合作，与各方共同开创全球人权事业美好的未来。

Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that China, caring deeply for the future of humanity and the wellbeing of all countries, will be a practitioner of international cooperation, a promoter of mutual learning among civilizations, and a builder of a community with a shared future for mankind. We will be more proactive in international human rights cooperation, and together with all sides, work to usher in a better future for the global cause of human rights.
