—We should build a BRICS committed to justice, and we must all act as forerunners in reforming global governance. The international power dynamics is undergoing profound changes, but global governance reform has lagged behind for a long time. We should champion true multilateralism and adhere to the vision of global governance characterized by extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits. We must ensure that global governance reform is guided by the principles of fairness, justice, openness and inclusiveness. In light of the rise of the Global South, we should respond favorably to the calls from various countries to join BRICS. We should advance the process of expanding BRICS membership and establishing a partner country mechanism, and enhance the representation and voice of developing nations in global governance.

我们要为捍卫国际公平正义采取“上合行动”。各成员国秉持公正公道原则，建设性参与国际和地区事务，捍卫全球南方共同利益。我们要继续旗帜鲜明反对霸权主义和强权政治，践行真正的多边主义，担当起推动世界多极化和国际关系民主化的中流砥柱。

We should act to defend international fairness and justice. In compliance with the principles of justice and fairness, SCO member states have engaged constructively in international and regional affairs, and upheld the common interests of the Global South. We should continue to unequivocally oppose hegemonism and power politics, practice true multilateralism, and stand as a pillar in promoting a multipolar world and greater democracy in international relations.

We were the first to put forth the vision of global governance featuring extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit as an effort to practice true multilateralism. We deepened cooperation with the United Nations and other international organizations, and played a constructive role in international and regional affairs. We always stand on the side of international fairness and justice, champion inclusiveness and mutual learning between civilizations, and oppose hegemonism and power politics, thus becoming a proactive force for world peace and development.

Mao Ning: Premier Li Qiang paid an official visit to Egypt from July 9 to 10. During the visit, he met with Egyptian President El-Sisi, held talks with Prime Minister Madbouly, and met with Speaker of the House of Representatives Gebaly. Premier Li noted that China always views its relations with Egypt as a priority in Middle East diplomacy. As the two countries mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year, China hopes to work with Egypt to carry forward the traditional friendship, consolidate political mutual trust, continue to give each other firm support on issues bearing on each other’s core interest, enrich the comprehensive strategic partnership, deliver more results through cooperation in various areas, and build a China-Egypt community with a shared future for the new era. China supports Egypt in playing a greater role in international and regional affairs, and stands ready to coordinate and collaborate more closely with Egypt within multilateral frameworks, practice true multilateralism, uphold economic globalization and the international economic and trade order, safeguard the common interests of the vast developing world, and contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond. During the visit, Premier Li and Prime Minister Madbouly witnessed the signing of cooperation documents on e-commerce, green and low-carbon development, development assistance, finance and health.
