During the visit, the two sides announced the substantive conclusion of the China-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (CSFTA) Work Programme for Subsequent Negotiations, which will give a strong boost to two-way opening-up at a higher level. This speaks to the two sides’ determination to advance high-quality cooperation. Both agree to continue to make good use of the coordinating role of bilateral cooperation mechanisms at the level of the vice premier and deputy prime minister, further expand cooperation in areas including digital economy, green growth, artificial intelligence, finance, people-to-people and cultural exchange, and tap into potential areas for new growth points.
