—We should jointly advance modernization underpinned by peace and security. Modernization would not be possible without a peaceful and stable environment for development. China is ready to help Africa improve its capacity in safeguarding peace and stability independently, prioritize Africa in implementing the Global Security Initiative (GSI), promote mutual reinforcement of high-quality development and greater security, and work together with Africa to uphold world peace and stability.

第十，安全共筑伙伴行动。中方愿同非方建立落实全球安全倡议伙伴关系，打造倡议合作示范区，向非方提供10亿元人民币无偿军事援助，为非方培训6000名军队人才和1000名警务执法人员，邀请500名青年军官访华。开展中非军队联演联训、联合巡航，实施“助力非洲摆脱雷患行动”，共同维护人员和项目安全。

Tenth, the Partnership Action for Common Security. China is ready to build with Africa a partnership for implementing the GSI, and make it a fine example of GSI cooperation. We will give Africa RMB1 billion yuan of grants in military assistance, provide training for 6,000 military personnel and 1,000 police and law enforcement officers from Africa, and invite 500 young African military officers to visit China. The two sides will conduct joint military exercises, training and patrol, carry out an “action for a mine-free Africa,” and jointly ensure the safety of personnel and projects.

维护国家安全是外交工作的神圣使命。我们有力捍卫国家主权、安全、发展利益，坚决反击外部势力遏制打压，为强国建设、民族复兴伟业营造有利外部环境。我们携手国际社会践行全球安全倡议，积极开展国际安全合作，协力完善全球安全治理，以中国方案推动和平解决国际争端和热点问题，日益成为世界变局乱局中的和平力量、稳定力量、正义力量。

Safeguarding national security is the sacred mission of the diplomatic front. We resolutely defend national sovereignty, security and development interests, fight back at attempts of containment and suppression by external forces, and strive to ensure a favorable external environment for our cause of building a strong country and realizing national rejuvenation. We work with the international community to act on the Global Security Initiative, engage in international security cooperation, contribute to better global security governance, and offer Chinese solutions to help promote the peaceful settlement of international disputes and hotspot issues. With all these efforts, China is increasingly perceived as a force for peace, stability and justice in a changing and turbulent world.

阿富汗、巴基斯坦代表团高度评价习近平主席提出的全球安全倡议和亚洲安全模式，特别是求同存异、平等相待、通过对话协商和平解决分歧等重要理念。双方均对中方斡旋工作以及作为东道方的周到安排深表赞赏和感谢，认为中方公道公允、尽心竭力。

The Afghan and Pakistani delegations spoke highly of the Global Security Initiative and the Asian security model put forward by President Xi Jinping, in particular his important visions of seeking commonality despite differences, treating each other as equals, and championing dialogue and consultation for peaceful settlement of disputes. The two sides commended and thanked China for the mediation effort and thoughtful arrangement as the host country of the talks. They also expressed appreciation for China’s fair and just position and utmost effort.
