Not long ago, the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held its third plenary session. At the session, a new blueprint was drawn up to further advance Chinese modernization. As China pursues high-standard opening up and high-quality development, we will continue to view fellow BRICS countries as good companions and good partners. China will share development opportunities with BRICS countries and other countries around the world and seek more cooperation in building a community with a shared future for mankind.

中国坚定支持东盟团结和东盟共同体建设，支持东盟在区域架构中的中心地位。中国全力支持马来西亚履职2025年东盟轮值主席国，期待马来西亚作为中国东盟关系协调国更好发挥桥梁作用。中国正在以中国式现代化全面推进强国建设、民族复兴伟业。中国式现代化是走和平发展道路的现代化，愿同各国一道实现和平发展、互利合作、共同繁荣。中国经济基础稳、优势多、韧性强、潜能大，长期向好的支撑条件和基本趋势没有变。中国把2025年经济增长预期目标定在5%左右，将继续推动高质量发展，扩大高水平对外开放，同各国分享发展机遇，为地区乃至世界经济带来更多稳定性和确定性。

China firmly supports ASEAN unity and community-building, and supports ASEAN centrality in the regional architecture. China fully supports Malaysia in its role as the ASEAN Chair for 2025 and looks forward to Malaysia serving as a stronger bridge between the two sides as the Country Coordinator for China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations. Through its modernization, China is striving to build itself into a great modern socialist country in all respects, and advancing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts. Chinese modernization follows a path of peaceful development. China will promote global peace, development and shared prosperity with other countries through mutually beneficial cooperation. The Chinese economy is built on a solid foundation, with multiple strengths, high resilience, and vast potential for growth. The core conditions supporting its long-term positive growth remain firmly in place, with the underlying upward trend unchanged. China has set its target for economic growth at around five percent for 2025. We will continue to pursue high-quality development, expand high-standard opening up, share development opportunities with other countries, and bring greater stability and certainty to the regional and global economy. 

中国经济基础稳、优势多、韧性强、潜能大，长期向好的支撑条件和基本趋势没有变，这是中国与世界共享机遇、共谋发展的最大底气与信心。随着中央经济工作会议进一步释放扩大高水平对外开放的强烈信号，中国推动经济向上向好发展的脚步不停，以中国式现代化促进全球发展繁荣的方向不变，同世界各国分享发展机遇的信心不减。我们也欢迎更多外国朋友来到中国、投资中国、深耕中国，分享共赢红利，共创美好未来！

China’s economy has a stable foundation, numerous strengths, remarkable resilience and vast potential. The dominating trend of a sound Chinese economy for the long term and the elements supporting it have not changed. This is the major reason why China is fully confident in sharing its opportunities and prospering with the world. The CEWC once again sent the strong message of a more open China, which means China will not stop achieving a continued upward trajectory of the Chinese economy, and its commitment to promoting global development and prosperity through Chinese modernization will not change, and China’s resolve to share development opportunities with the world is as strong as ever.
