I believe that with the concerted efforts of China and ASEAN, we will continue to make solid and sustained progress in our friendship and cooperation, and play a greater role in promoting peace, stability, prosperity and development in Asia.

从宏观政策来说，面对外部环境带来的风险挑战，我们明确提出更加积极有为的宏观政策取向，实施更加积极的财政政策和适度宽松的货币政策，财政支出规模创历史新高，货币金融总量调控力度显著加大，为社会总需求的扩张提供有力支撑。下一步，我们还将根据形势变化，持续加大逆周期调节力度。无论未来遇到什么样的挑战，我们都有能力有信心保持中国经济大船行稳致远。

In terms of macro policies, facing risks and challenges from the external environment, we made clear that more proactive and effective macro policies will be implemented and that a more proactive fiscal policy and an appropriately accommodative monetary policy will be adopted. Fiscal expenditures hit a record high and the regulation of monetary and financial aggregates has been significantly strengthened, providing a strong underpinning for the expansion of aggregate demand. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen counter-cyclical adjustments in light of the changing circumstances. Whatever challenges lie ahead in the future, we have the capability and confidence to maintain the steady and long-term development of the Chinese economy.

中国将以自身高质量发展，为三方合作不断注入新动能。今年以来，中国经济持续回升向好，充分展示了强大稳定性。中国明确提出更加积极有为的宏观政策取向，将持续加大逆周期调节力度，有能力有信心保持经济行稳致远。我们将把发展的战略立足点更多放在扩大内需、做强国内大循环上，不断提升经济的内在驱动力，也将坚定不移扩大高水平开放，推动国内国际双循环相互促进，让东盟和海合会国家以及世界各国企业共享中国发展机遇。

With its high-quality development, China will consistently inject new impetus into the trilateral cooperation. The Chinese economy has been growing steadily since the beginning of this year, showing the great stability of the Chinese economy. We’ve made clear that more proactive and effective macro policies will be implemented and we will continue to strengthen counter-cyclical adjustments and have the capability and confidence to maintain the steady and long-term development of the Chinese economy. We are increasingly placing our strategic priority on expanding domestic demand and strengthening domestic circulation with a view to enhancing the internal driving force of the Chinese economy. We will stay committed to expanding high-standard opening up and enable domestic and international circulations to reinforce each other, so that companies across the world, including those from ASEAN and GCC countries, can fully share in the opportunity of China’s development.

今年是《巴黎协定》达成10周年。10年来，全球气候治理虽然历经风雨，但绿色低碳发展终成时代潮流。今年也是联合国成立80周年。当前，世界百年变局加速演进，人类社会走到新的十字路口。尽管个别大国热衷于单边主义、保护主义，对国际规则和国际秩序造成严重冲击，但历史总会在曲折中前进。只要我们坚定信心，加强团结合作，就一定能冲破逆流，推动全球气候治理和世界一切进步事业行稳致远。在此，我愿分享4点看法。

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. Over the past decade, global climate governance has gone through winds and rains, but green and low-carbon development has eventually become a trend of our times. This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. As unprecedented global changes unfold at a faster pace, humanity has come to a new crossroads. Although some major country’s persistent pursuit of unilateralism and protectionism has seriously impacted international rules and the international order, history will, as always, move forward through twists and turns. As long as we enhance confidence, solidarity and cooperation, we will overcome the headwinds and steadily move forward global climate governance and all progressive endeavors of the world. Let me share four points with you in this regard.
