We have accelerated work to strengthen our international communication capacity, with the goal of telling well China’s stories and the Party’s stories, making China’s voice heard, and promoting exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations. Our cultural soft power and the appeal of Chinese culture have increased significantly.

深化中外人文交流，提高国际传播能力。加大体育改革力度。做好2024年奥运会、残奥会备战参赛工作。建好用好群众身边的体育设施，推动全民健身活动广泛开展。

We will boost people-to-people exchanges with other countries and strengthen our capacity for international communication. We will intensify reform in sports and make good preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We will build sports facilities close to people’s homes and see they are fully used. We will extensively promote public fitness activities.

We will strengthen our international communications capabilities, make our communications more effective, and strive to strengthen China’s voice in international affairs so it is commensurate with our composite national strength and international status. 中国始终奉行独立自主的和平外交政策，坚定维护国家主权、安全、发展利益，积极推动建设新型国际关系，同各国携手构建人类命运共同体。我想告诉大家的是，加强和改进国际传播工作，加强国际传播能力建设，形成与中国综合国力和国际地位相匹配的国际话语权，将为中国改革发展稳定营造有利外部舆论环境，为推动构建人类命运共同体作出积极贡献。这契合中国和平发展的需要，符合中国改革开放的要求，也顺应世界和平与发展的潮流，有利于中国，也有利于世界。

This is consistent with the need for China's peaceful development, the requirements to advance reform and opening-up in China, and the global trend of peace and development.
