立足当下，金砖要在百年变局中站得高、看得远。当前，个别大国重拾冷战思维，拼凑地缘政治“小圈子”，公然抵制联合国安理会决议，侵蚀多边机制权威性。经济问题政治化、泛安全化甚嚣尘上，单边制裁、科技壁垒有增无减。面对促进世界多极化和维护单极霸权两种力量的较量，面对经济全球化和“逆全球化”两种取向的碰撞，我们应顺应历史潮流，站在公道正义一边，作出正确抉择。

At this moment, amid the once-in-a-century transformation, BRICS should stand on higher ground and see further ahead. Some major country, still harboring Cold War mentality, is cobbling up geopolitical blocs and even publicly challenging UNSC resolutions, which erodes the authority of multilateral mechanisms. Economic issues are politicized; the notion of national security is overstretched; and unilateral sanctions and technology barriers are growing. In the face of a contest between forces promoting world multipolarity and forces holding onto unipolar hegemony, between globalization and anti-globalization, we must follow the trend of history, stand on the side of fairness and justice, and make the right choice.

毛宁：关于中国同巴拉圭关系正常化的问题，中方已经多次表明了立场。我们希望巴拉圭政府和领导人顺应历史潮流和人民的愿望，早日站到历史正确的一边、站到国际社会绝大多数国家的一边，作出符合本国根本和长远利益的正确的决断。

Mao Ning: On the normalization of China-Paraguay relations, China made clear its position more than once. We hope the government and leader of Paraguay will follow the trend of history, meet the aspiration of its people, stand on the right side of history as early as possible, join the overwhelming majority of the international community and make the right decision that serves the fundamental and long-term interests of the country. 

中国人讲，“朋友以义合”。塞尔维亚人说，“朋友是生命中最好的财富”。中塞长期友好交往和互利合作充分表明，两国关系不断深化发展顺应历史潮流，符合人民根本利益，有利于双方共同进步。新时代新征程，中塞全面战略伙伴关系进一步发展具有广阔空间。我愿通过这次访问，同塞方一道努力，发扬光大中塞铁杆友谊，用实实在在的行动，更好造福两国人民，促进世界和平和发展，共同推动构建人类命运共同体。

A Chinese axiom goes, “Friends are those who are like-minded.” And Serbians would say, “Friends are the greatest asset in life.” The long-lasting friendship and win-win cooperation between China and Serbia makes it clear to us that a stronger bilateral relationship conforms with the trend of history and serves the best interests of our two peoples. It also helps promote our common progress. On the new journey of the new era, the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership has more potential for further growth. During my upcoming visit, I will work with my Serbian friends to bring out the best in our ironclad friendship and take real efforts to deliver more benefits to our two peoples, advance world peace and development, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
