The Vision responds to the world’s prevailing trend of peace, development, cooperation and win-win, and opens up new prospects for peace and progress. China calls on all countries to bear in mind the future of humanity and the wellbeing of the people, and uphold their essential commitment to equality, mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence. We should all champion the common values of humanity, promote global governance that features extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit, and cultivate a new type of international relations. We should all work together to implement the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and deliver more benefits to all peoples.

林剑：去年，中国提出的设立“文明对话国际日”决议在第78届联大协商一致通过。这是中方践行习近平主席提出的全球文明倡议的成功实践，也是为推动全球不同文明间交流对话、促进世界和平与发展作出的重要贡献。联合国近日设立专门网站宣介“文明对话国际日”，这有助于弘扬全人类共同价值，提升公众对尊重文明多样性的意识，聚焦探寻全球性挑战的解决之道。

Lin Jian: Last year, the resolution proposed by China to establish the “International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations” was adopted at the 78th United Nations General Assembly by consensus. This marks a successful practice of China’s Global Civilization Initiative put forth by President Xi Jinping, and represents a significant contribution to promoting dialogue among different civilizations worldwide, as well as advancing global peace and development. The special website for the “International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations” launched by the U.N. recently will help promote the common values of humanity, raise public awareness of respecting diversity of civilizations, and draw attention to finding solutions to global challenges.

第五，面对意识形态分歧，中国将坚定做包容的力量。我们将弘扬全人类共同价值，同各国深化交流互鉴，共同推动人类文明进步，促进各国人民相知相亲。加强治国理政和发展经验交流，讲好中国共产党的故事、中国式现代化的故事、构建人类命运共同体的故事，厚植中国与世界各国的友谊。扩大中外人民的“双向奔赴”。办好第九届亚洲冬季运动会，让各国朋友透过冰雪魅力感受多彩中国。

Fifth, China will be a firm force for inclusiveness in the face of ideological differences. We will promote the common values of humanity, deepen exchanges and mutual learning with other countries, join forces for the progress of human civilization, and enhance the mutual understanding and friendship among people of different countries. We will step up experience-sharing on governance and development, tell engaging stories of the CPC, of Chinese modernization, and of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and cement China’s friendship with countries around the globe. We will expand two-way exchanges between the Chinese people and people elsewhere, and do our best to stage a successful Asian Winter Games to showcase a diverse China through the charm of ice and snow.

中国式现代化是走和平发展道路的现代化，中国实现现代化是世界和平力量、发展力量的增长。我们践行共同、综合、合作、可持续的安全观，坚持以对话解争端，以协商化分歧，以合作促安全。我们坚定推进高水平、制度型对外开放，以中国式现代化新成就为世界发展提供新机遇。我们弘扬全人类共同价值，推动不同文明平等对话、交流互鉴，为人类文明进步提供不竭动能。

Chinese modernization is achieved through peaceful development. The modernization of China means a greater force for global peace and development. We are committed to pursuing common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and to resolving disputes and differences through dialogue and consultation and enhancing security through cooperation. We will keep pursuing high-standard and institutional opening up, and provide new opportunities for global development with progress in China’s modernization. We will continue to advocate the common values of humanity, promote dialogue, exchanges and mutual learning on an equal footing among all civilizations, and always remain a driving force for progress of humanity.
