The Vision responds to the world’s prevailing trend of peace, development, cooperation and win-win, and opens up new prospects for peace and progress. China calls on all countries to bear in mind the future of humanity and the wellbeing of the people, and uphold their essential commitment to equality, mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence. We should all champion the common values of humanity, promote global governance that features extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefit, and cultivate a new type of international relations. We should all work together to implement the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and deliver more benefits to all peoples.

Guo Jiakun: Leaders, former political dignitaries, high-level officials, foreign diplomatic envoys in China and international friends from many countries attended the commemorative events marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. It demonstrates their aspiration and determination to jointly protect historical memory and defend peace and justice. China sincerely hopes that all people in the world will learn from history, carry forward the common values of humanity, firmly defend international fairness and justice and jointly create a better future for humanity.

Might may rule the moment, but right prevails forever. Justice, light and progress will inevitably triumph over evil, darkness, and regression. At all times, we must advocate the common values of humanity, resolutely defend international fairness and justice, and ensure righteousness prevails and brightness shines in our world.

我们要为弘扬全人类共同价值作出“上合示范”。各成员国人文交流亮点纷呈，民间往来密切热络，多样文明竞相绽放。我们要继续促进文明交流互鉴，书写不同历史文化、不同社会制度、不同发展阶段国家和平和睦和谐相处的璀璨篇章。

We should set an example in championing the common values of humanity. Among SCO member states, cultural exchanges are packed with highlights, people-to-people interactions are frequent and robust, and different civilizations radiate their unique splendor. We should continue to promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and write brilliant chapters of peace, amity and harmony among countries different in history, culture, social system and development stage.
