The ASEAN-led East Asian cooperation plays an important role for promoting dialogue and cooperation among participating parties and safeguarding regional stability. Amid the complex transformation of international and regional situation, sluggish global economic growth and rising unilateralism and protectionism, East Asian cooperation faces some complex factors. In this context, regional countries aspire more for stability, cooperation and development, and East Asian cooperation is all the more relevant today.
