林剑中方欢迎联合国达成“全球数字契约”。契约强调发展优先、普惠包容、创新驱动、保护数字空间文化多样性，营造开放、公平、包容和非歧视数字发展环境，这些原则与中方提出的全球发展倡议和全球文明倡议理念相通。契约提出制定全球数据安全共同标准，开展人工智能治理全球对话及政府间谈判，这些举措与中方提出的《全球人工智能治理倡议》《全球数据安全倡议》路径一致。

Lin Jian China welcomes the adoption of the Global Digital Compact at the UN. The compact underlines development as a priority, universal benefit and inclusiveness, innovation-driven development, and preservation of cultural diversity in the digital space, and it aims to foster an open, fair, inclusive and non-discriminatory digital environment. These principles have much in common with the visions of China’s Global Development Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative. The compact proposes to adopt common standards for global data security and hold a Global Dialogue on AI Governance and intergovernmental negotiations. These measures are consistent with what needs to be done to deliver on China’s Global Initiative for AI Governance and Global Initiative on Data Security.

中国一贯支持以联合国为主渠道推进全球数字治理，建设性参与了契约磋商的全过程，为契约顺利达成发挥重要作用。下步，中方将一如既往，秉持共商共建共享的理念，与国际社会一道，共同推进全球数字治理，共同推动契约落地，共同构建全球数字命运共同体。

China is committed to promoting global digital governance with the UN as the main channel. We have constructively participated in the whole-process negotiation of the compact, and played an important role in its adoption. Going forward, China will, as always, uphold the principle of planning together, building together, and benefiting together, and work with the international community to promote global digital governance, implement the Global Digital Compact, and build a community with a shared future in the digital world.

林剑今天上午，外交部副部长孙卫东会见了日本外务副大臣柘植芳文，双方就中日关系和共同关心的问题交换了意见。双方重申重视和发展中日关系的立场，同意共同努力落实两国领导人重要共识，全面推进战略互惠关系。关于深圳日本人学校男童遇袭身亡事件，双方肯定彼此为妥善、冷静处理这一不幸事件所做努力，同意保持沟通，避免偶发个案影响两国关系。

Lin Jian Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong met with Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Tsuge Yoshifumi this morning and the two sides exchanged views on China-Japan relations and issues of mutual interest. The two sides reiterated their stance of valuing and growing China-Japan relations and agreed to work together to deliver on the important common understandings between the leaders of the two countries, and comprehensively advance the strategic relationship of mutual benefit. Concerning the death of the boy from the Shenzhen Japanese School, the two sides recognized each other’s effort to properly and calmly handle the tragic incident, and agreed to maintain communication to prevent negative impact of individual case on the bilateral ties.
