Wang Wenbin Japan is bent on releasing the Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water into the sea without exhausting all safe ways of disposal, comprehensively disclosing relevant information and fully consulting with neighboring countries and the international community. This is extremely irresponsible, as it not only threatens the global marine environment and exposes the international community to unnecessary risks, but also undermines the health, wellbeing and right to development of the Japanese people. We hope the Japanese side will not turn a deaf ear to all parties’ concerns and the public opinion at home. It should give a reasonable explanation to the Japanese people and the international community as soon as possible.
