赵立坚中韩双方于2017年10月就阶段性处理“萨德”问题达成协议，推动双边关系重回改善发展的正常轨道。有关过程是清楚的，符合双方共同利益。中方有关立场是一贯的，明确的，即坚决反对美国在韩国部署“萨德”系统，损害中国战略安全利益，破坏地区战略平衡。希望韩方按照中韩双方共识妥善处理这一问题，避免两国关系受到干扰和影响。我们愿同韩方共同努力，推动中韩关系继续向前发展。

Zhao Lijian China and the ROK reached agreement in October 2017 on phased settlement of the THAAD issue, bringing the bilateral relations back to the track of improvement and development. The historical development was very clear and in line with the interests of both. China’s position on this matter has been consistent and definite. We firmly oppose the U.S. deployment of THAAD in the ROK which undermines China’s strategic security interests and regional strategic balance. We hope the ROK will properly handle this issue following the consensus reached by China and itself, and prevent the bilateral ties from being disrupted or impacted. We would like to work with the ROK to move forward the bilateral relations.

Zhao Lijian China’s independent vaccine R&D is leading the world. Four of our vaccine candidates are subject to phase III of clinical trials in multiple countries, and our vaccines were spoken highly of by them. China also joined COVAX. We will act on our commitment that COVID-19 vaccine development and deployment in China, when available, will be made a global public good, contributing to vaccine accessibility and affordability in developing countries.

总台国广记者首次阿富汗人内部谈判开幕至今已经一月有余。据报道，阿和谈双方仍未就谈判基础、依据等关键问题达成一致，正式谈判迄未开启，且阿国内战事冲突未减反增。请问中方对此有何评论？如何看待美国和国际社会在阿问题上作用？

CRI It has been more than a month since the beginning of the first intra-Afghan negotiations, but reportedly the two sides have not yet reached agreement on the foundation and basis of negotiations and other key issues and formal negotiations have not yet begun. Meanwhile the fighting and conflict in Afghanistan has been increasing rather than decreasing. What is China's comment on this? How do you see the role of the United States and the international community on the Afghan issue?

中方主张包括美国在内的国际社会应该为推动阿富汗人民内部谈判发挥建设性作用，支持相关各方尽己所能多做劝和促谈工作。我们同时认为，任何一方都不能以一己私利人为甚至肆意干预阿富汗和平和解进程。维护和促进阿富汗安全稳定，是推动阿富汗和平和解与重建发展的重要前提。阿富汗问题复杂难解，内外部因素必须方向一致，协同发力，否则会适得其反。美国是阿富汗问题最大外部因素，应有序、负责任撤军，防止阿富汗国内暴力进一步升级，为阿人内部谈判创造有利的外部环境，而不是相反。

China holds that the international community, including the United States, should play a constructive role in advancing intra-Afghan talks and support relevant parties in doing their best to promote peace talks. At the same time, we believe that no one should arbitrarily interfere in the peace and reconciliation process for selfish interests. To safeguard and promote security and stability in Afghanistan is an important prerequisite for peace, reconciliation, reconstruction and development. The Afghan issue is complicated and difficult to resolve. Internal and external factors must work in concert towards the same direction in order to achieve intended outcomes. The United States is the biggest external factor on this issue. It should withdraw troops in an orderly and responsible manner, prevent further escalation of violence in Afghanistan, and create a favorable external environment for intra-Afghan negotiations, rather than the opposite.

赵立坚为帮助莱索托、安哥拉应对新冠肺炎疫情，中国政府向两国派遣了抗疫医疗专家组。专家组由国家卫健委组建，湖北省卫健委选派。

Zhao Lijian To help Lesotho and Angola cope with COVID-19, the Chinese government has sent a team of medical experts to the two countries. The expert group was formed by the National Health Commission, and selected by Hubei Provincial Health Commission.
