今天，我们比历史上任何时期都更接近、更有信心和能力实现中华民族伟大复兴的目标。同时，全党必须清醒认识到，中华民族伟大复兴绝不是轻轻松松、敲锣打鼓就能实现的，前进道路上仍然存在可以预料和难以预料的各种风险挑战；必须清醒认识到，我国仍处于并将长期处于社会主义初级阶段，我国仍然是世界最大的发展中国家，社会主要矛盾是人民日益增长的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾。全党要牢记中国共产党是什么、要干什么这个根本问题，把握历史发展大势，坚定理想信念，牢记初心使命，始终谦虚谨慎、不骄不躁、艰苦奋斗，从伟大胜利中激发奋进力量，从弯路挫折中吸取历史教训，不为任何风险所惧，不为任何干扰所惑，决不在根本性问题上出现颠覆性错误，以咬定青山不放松的执着奋力实现既定目标，以行百里者半九十的清醒不懈推进中华民族伟大复兴。

Today, we are closer, more confident, and more capable than ever of realizing the goal of national rejuvenation. But at the same time, all Party members must realize that achieving national rejuvenation will be no walk in the park, and it will take more than drum beating and gong clanging to get there. There are many risks and challenges on the journey ahead, some of which we can foresee and others we cannot. We must also recognize that China is still in the primary stage of socialism and will long stay in this stage, that it remains the largest developing country in the world, and that the principal contradiction facing Chinese society is that between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life. Every Party member must bear in mind what the Party is and what its mission is—these are issues of fundamental importance that we must never lose sight of. We must have a precise grasp of historical trends, stand firm in our ideals and convictions, and stay true to our Party’s founding mission. We must remain modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and rashness, and work hard. We should draw strength from our achievements to forge ahead, and learn lessons from missteps and setbacks. We must not be intimidated by any risks or led astray by any distractions, and we must be absolutely certain that we make no catastrophic mistakes on fundamental issues. With the determination to never let up until we reach our goals and the attitude that the last leg of the journey only marks the halfway point, we must make unremitting efforts to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

当前，世界之变、时代之变、历史之变正以前所未有的方式展开。中国正在以中国式现代化全面推进强国建设、民族复兴伟业。我们追求的不是中国独善其身的现代化，而是期待同广大发展中国家在内的各国一道，共同实现现代化。世界现代化应该是和平发展的现代化、互利合作的现代化、共同繁荣的现代化。前行道路上，有顺境也会有逆流。我们要坚持目标导向、行动导向，咬定青山不放松，一张蓝图绘到底。中方愿同各方深化“一带一路”合作伙伴关系，推动共建“一带一路”进入高质量发展的新阶段，为实现世界各国的现代化作出不懈努力。

Changes of the world, of our times, and of historical significance are unfolding like never before. China is endeavoring to build itself into a stronger country and rejuvenate the Chinese nation on all fronts by pursuing Chinese modernization. The modernization we are pursuing is not for China alone, but for all developing countries through our joint efforts. Global modernization should be pursued to enhance peaceful development and mutually beneficial cooperation and bring prosperity to all. On our way forward, we will encounter both headwinds and tailwinds. We need to stay focused on our goal, take results-oriented actions, persevere, and keep moving forward until our goal is met. China will work with all parties involved to deepen Belt and Road partnerships of cooperation, usher this cooperation into a new stage of high-quality development, and make relentless efforts to achieve modernization for all countries.

五是团结奋斗。中国发展的成功经验充分证明，一盘散沙没有希望，团结奋斗才有力量，要咬定青山不放松，一张蓝图绘到底。如果像有的国家那样政党纷争，只说不做，朝令夕改，再好的蓝图也只是画饼充饥、空中楼阁。

Fifth, working hard in unity. China’s success proves that acting in disunity like a heap of loose sand will get us nowhere, and that only by striving in unity can we pool strength. We will persevere in carrying out the set blueprint until it becomes reality. Partisan rift, empty talk and frequent policy flip-flop as seen in certain country will only make even the best blueprint an illusion and a castle in the air.

这是我们在长期实践中得出的至关紧要的规律性认识，必须倍加珍惜、始终坚持，咬定青山不放松，引领和保障中国特色社会主义巍巍巨轮乘风破浪、行稳致远。

We have come to this understanding through many years of practice. It is a conclusion of paramount importance that we must cherish, uphold, and never deviate from. Under its guidance, we will ensure that the great ship of socialism with Chinese characteristics catches the wind, cuts through the waves, and sails steadily into the future.
