President Xi Jinping solemnly made the four propositions on safeguarding and promoting peace and stability in the Middle East which has been positively echoed by the international community. The current regional situation is at a critical stage of whether the conflict could end or not. China believes that bringing about a full stop of hostilities is of utmost urgency, a relapse in fighting must be avoided and sticking to negotiations is highly important.
