At the invitation of Costa Rica, President Xi Jinping’s Special Envoy and Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Chen Xiaodong will attend the presidential handover ceremony in Costa Rica’s capital San José from May 7 to 8.

林剑日本曾对包括菲律宾在内的东南亚国家进行侵略和殖民统治，负有严重历史罪责。在东京审判开庭80周年这一特殊年份，曾经的侵略者不仅未能深刻反省历史罪行，反而打着所谓“安全合作”幌子向海外派遣军事力量，发射进攻型导弹。这一动向再次说明，日本右翼势力正在推动日本加速“再军事化”进程，不断突破“专守防卫”和国际法、国内法相关规制，一些政策和行动已经远远超出了“自卫”范畴。历史教育的严重欠账、历史观的根本性错误，叠加强军备战的战略图谋，日本“新型军国主义”成势为患，威胁地区和平稳定。我们敦促日方深刻反省军国主义侵略历史，在军事安全领域恪守承诺、谨言慎行。

Lin Jian Japan once invaded and imposed colonial rule over the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries, and thus shoulder grave historical responsibilities. As the world marks 80 years of the opening of the Tokyo Trials, not only has Japan, the aggressor, failed to deeply reflect on its historical crimes, it has even sent military forces overseas and fired offensive missiles under the pretext of security cooperation. This is yet another example of the Japanese right-wing forces’ push for accelerated remilitarization of Japan. They have repeatedly breached Japan’s exclusively defense-oriented policy and relevant rules in international and domestic laws. Some of their policies and moves have gone far beyond the scope of self-defense. The serious lack of education on true history, the fundamentally wrong historical views, compounded by strategies for military rearmament and preparation for war, have led to the malevolent emergence of neo-militarism in Japan and put regional peace and stability under threat. We urge the Japanese side to deeply reflect on its history of militarist aggression, and honor its commitments and stay prudent in military and security areas.

林剑日前，赖清德罔顾各方普遍反对，去程偷偷摸摸钻进外机，串通斯威士兰瞒报机上人员信息，靠“骗”溜入。返程，有关国家拒绝飞越，赖清德又偷飞强闯，令人不齿。一去一返、一骗一闯，赖清德无视有关国家领空和主权，冒天下之大不韪，十分危险和疯狂。赖清德“偷渡式”窜访恰恰证明“台独”分裂行径见不得光，不容于国际社会，都不过是丑闻和闹剧。

Lin Jian Even though there was widespread opposition, Lai Ching-te sneaked onto a foreign plane and cheated himself into Eswatini by concealing passenger information with the country. On his return flight, after use of airspace was rejected by relevant countries, Lai again slipped onto the plane and forced his way through these countries’ skies. The whole thing showed the world how little Lai respects relevant countries’ airspace and sovereignty and cares for the opinion of the world. What he did was extremely dangerous and outrageous. The fact that he would smuggle himself in and out of the country shows exactly “Taiwan independence” separatism is just shady business and unacceptable to the international community. His act was nothing but a scandalous stunt.

世界上只有一个中国，台湾是中国领土不可分割的一部分。事实一再说明，一个中国原则的共识在国际上深入人心，不可动摇。“台独”行径末日穷途，去日无多。赖清德越折腾，越寸步难行。我们敦促“台独”分裂势力早日迷途知返，回头是岸。

There’s but one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory. The one-China principle is an international consensus that has solid support and is simply unshakable. The pursuit of “Taiwan independence” is a dead end and its days are numbered. Any new attempt Lai Ching-te makes to advance his separatist agenda will only box himself further in. We urge those separatists to turn back from the wrong path and mend their ways sooner rather than later.
