CCTV Eighty years after the opening of the Tokyo Trials, a complete Chinese translation of the Transcripts of the proceedings of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE) has been published in China. These transcripts are the core archives of the Tokyo Trials. They documented the tribunal’s entire proceedings that lasted for more than two years. The handwritten diaries by U.S. lawyer David Nelson Sutton who served as an assistant prosecutor at the Tokyo Trials, were recently uncovered and made public for the first time. What’s China’s comment?
林剑东京审判历经818次开庭，419名证人出庭，证据总数4336件，英文庭审记录近5万页，揭露日本军国主义在亚洲多国犯下的战争暴行，判定日本军国主义发动侵略战争，把法西斯战犯永远钉在人类历史的耻辱柱上。庭审记录全译本的出版和萨顿日记的披露再次说明，日本军国主义侵略罪行罄竹难书、铁证如山。
Lin Jian The IMTFE held a total of 818 court sessions, heard testimony from 419 witnesses, examined 4,336 pieces of evidence and formed nearly 50,000 pages of English transcripts of court proceedings. The Tribunal brought to light the wartime atrocities of Japanese militarism in Asian countries, ruled that militarist Japan waged a war of aggression, and condemned the Fascist war criminals to perpetual infamy. The publication of the Chinese translation of the transcripts and the diaries by Prosecutor Sutton once again spotlight the innumerable and ironclad war crimes of the Japanese militarists.
80年过去了，日本右翼势力却始终未能深刻反省历史，极力美化侵略罪行，向日本社会灌输错误的历史观，一些政客还频繁参拜供奉甲级战犯的所谓“靖国神社”。这实质是企图否定东京审判历史定论、挑战战后国际秩序。
Eighty years on, the right-wing forces in Japan remain unrepentant over the history of the war and continue to try every means possible to whitewash the crime of aggression and instill a distorted view of history among the Japanese public. Some politicians even pay frequent visits to the Yasukuni war shrine where convicted Class-A war criminals are honored. Those moves are essentially attempts to negate the judgement of the Tokyo Trials and challenge the postwar international order.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson recently said that the Tokyo Trials had profound global legal and humanitarian significance. A former Japanese leader said publicly that history will repeat itself if the reason that led Japan to war goes unexamined, and that the tragedies must not happen again. He also noted that it has been 80 years since Japan’s defeat, war must definitely not be waged again, and the SDF must by no means be used as a tool of aggression.
历史真相不容抹杀，正义底线不容模糊，战后国际秩序不容挑战。世界上一切爱好和平的人士都绝不允许有人为侵略罪行翻案，都会坚决抵制遏制日本“新型军国主义”的妄动。
History and truth shall not be erased. Principles and justice shall not be fudged. The postwar international order shall not be challenged. No peace-loving people in the world will ever allow the verdict on the war crimes to be reversed or stop saying no to Japanese neo-militarism.
英国广播公司记者昨天两名英国籍香港公民被判有罪，罪名是为中国情报机构工作，从事间谍活动。中方对此有何回应？
BBC Yesterday in London at the Old Bailey two British Hong Kong nationals were found guilty of working for Chinese intelligence as part of what is described as a spy operation. What’s your reaction?
林剑中方已多次就有关案件表明原则立场。英方以“莫须有”罪名抓捕和起诉在英中国公民，滥用法律、操弄司法程序定罪，公然为反中乱港分子站台，对中方进行无理指控和污蔑抹黑，是典型的政治闹剧。中方对此予以强烈谴责和坚决反对，已向英方提出严正交涉。
Lin Jian China has made its principled position clear on this case more than once. By arresting and suing Chinese nationals in the UK without any factual basis, and securing the conviction by abusing the law and judicial process, the UK is blatantly endorsing those seeking to destabilize Hong Kong. Such groundless accusations and smears against China are nothing but a typical political stunt. China strongly deplores and firmly opposes it, and has lodged serious protests against the UK.
我们敦促英方纠正错误做法，停止反华政治操弄，停止为反中乱港分子撑腰打气，维护中英关系来之不易的良好发展势头。
We urge the UK to rectify its wrongdoings, stop its political manipulation against China, stop emboldening the anti-China, destabilizing forces, and preserve the hard-won positive momentum in China-UK relations.
