中华人民共和国恢复在联合国合法席位，不仅对中国意义重大，也对联合国、对世界具有深远影响。50多年来，中国始终同世界各国人民团结合作，维护国际公平正义，为联合国事业和世界和平与发展作出了重大贡献；始终维护联合国权威和地位，同联合国各领域合作日益深化。中国将继续坚持走和平发展之路，坚持走改革开放之路，不断以自身新发展为世界提供新机遇，同各方一道，牢记联合国初心使命，践行真正的多边主义，推动构建人类命运共同体，携手共建更加美好的世界。

The restoration of the lawful seat of the People’s Republic of China at the UN is of great significance to China and has a far-reaching impact on the UN and the world. For 50 plus years, China has all along worked in solidarity with people from all countries, upheld international fairness and justice, and made important contribution to the cause of the UN and world peace and development. China has also upheld the authority and sanctity of the UN, and deepened its cooperation with the UN in various areas. Going forward, China will stay committed to peaceful development and to reform and opening up, create new opportunities for the world through our own development, and work with other parties to uphold the founding mission of the UN, practice true multilateralism, build a community with a shared future for mankind, and create a better world.
