For example, we have worked for the adoption of the IMO’s initial strategy to reduce GHG emissions from international shipping that is based on China’s proposal, taken a lead in working out important measures and technical documents concerning emissions reductions, participated in and carried out IMO GHG studies, and played a guiding role and served as a bridge in multiple critical processes including at the meeting this time. All this has won widespread recognition by member states.
