China has been firmly against it from the very beginning. The US has no right to place its domestic law above international law, still less use it to interfere in China’s internal affairs. When it comes to the Taiwan question, what the US should abide by is the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, not the so-called “Taiwan Relations Act”.
