China firmly rejects any official interaction between the US and Taiwan in any form and in any name. We urge relevant parties in the US to abide by the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-US joint communiqués, stop all forms of official contact with Taiwan, and stop sending wrong signals to “Taiwan independence” forces. China will take strong measures to resolutely defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
