汪文斌中印两国于1月12日举行了第十四轮军长级会谈，两国国防、外交部门代表参加，并发布联合新闻稿。双方在坦诚、友好的气氛中，就解决中印边界西段有关问题深入交换了意见，提出解决方案并同意进一步研究。双方同意遵照两国领导人指引，尽快解决剩余问题。双方同意持续巩固已有成果，采取有效措施，保持包括冬季在内各时段西段地区局势安全稳定。双方同意继续保持军事和外交渠道沟通，通过对话协商尽快达成双方都能接受的解决方案。双方还同意，尽快举行下一轮军长级会谈。我认为此轮会谈成果是积极和建设性的。

Wang Wenbin China and India held the 14th round of Corps Commander Level Meeting on January 13. Representatives from the two sides’ defense and diplomatic departments attended the meeting and issued a joint press release. The two sides held in-depth exchange of views on issues relating to the western section of the border in a candid and friendly atmosphere, put forward solutions and agreed to conduct further study. Both agreed to follow the guidance of the two sides’ leaders and resolve the remaining issues as soon as possible. Both agreed to continue consolidating existing outcomes and take effective measures to maintain the security and stability in the western section in all seasons including winter. Both agreed to maintain communication through military and diplomatic channels and reach a mutually-acceptable solution through dialogue and consultation as soon as possible. It was also agreed that the next round of Corps Commander Level Meeting should be held at an early date. I believe this meeting yielded positive and constructive outcomes.
