We have also noted that for Afghanistan, security remains elusive and intra-Afghan negotiations are not progressing smoothly. China supports the "Afghan-led and Afghan-owned" principle and hopes that both parties will keep to the right direction of political resolution and seek common ground while shelving differences through dialogue and negotiation to realize peace and reconciliation at an early date.
