这是2021年以来中方第四次向联合国大会提交和平利用科技决议，得到国际社会广泛支持。执行决议是中方落实全球安全倡议的重点方向之一，我们愿同各方一道推动决议得到全面、有效落实，让科技成果更好造福人类和平与发展事业。

This is the fourth time for China to submit the resolution on peaceful uses of technology to the UN General Assembly since 2021, which has received broad support from the international community. Acting on the resolution is an important step for China to implement the Global Security Initiative. We will work with various parties to promote the full and effective implementation of the resolution and make sure that progress in technology will further contribute to peace and development for humanity.

毛宁为落实习近平主席就促进中东地区和平安全提出的系列倡议主张以及各方建设性参与非洲热点问题解决的4条原则，中国政府中东问题特使翟隽将于11月上中旬访问伊朗、阿曼、沙特，中国政府非洲事务特别代表刘显法将于11月上中旬访问埃塞俄比亚、吉布提、埃及，外交部非洲之角事务特使胡长春将于11月上旬访问厄立特里亚。中方特使、特代同一时间分赴地区国家穿梭访问，旨在劝和促谈、缓局降温，为维护地区和平稳定发挥建设性作用。

Mao Ning To deliver on the initiatives and propositions put forward by President Xi Jinping on promoting peace and security in the Middle East and the four principles on the constructive participation of relevant parties in the resolution of African hotspot issues, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun will visit Iran, Oman and Saudi Arabia in early and mid-November; Special Representative of the Chinese Government on African Affairs Liu Xianfa will visit Ethiopia, Djibouti and Egypt in early and mid-November; and Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Hu Changchun will visit Eritrea in early November. These shuttle diplomacy visits in this period of time by Chinese special envoys and special representative are aimed at promoting peace talks, easing tensions, and playing a constructive role in upholding regional peace and stability.
