林剑香港是法治社会，有法必依、违法必究是基本原则，任何人都不能打着“民主”的旗号从事违法活动并企图逃脱法律制裁。个别西方国家一面无视其本国通过有关司法程序维护自身国家安全的事实，一面对香港法院公正实施香港国安法无端指责，这种行径是对法治精神的严重亵渎和践踏。中国中央政府坚定支持香港特区维护国家安全、依法惩治各类危害国家安全的活动，坚决反对个别西方国家借有关司法个案干涉中国内政、抹黑和破坏香港法治。
Lin Jian Hong Kong is a society under the rule of law. To abide by the law and bring lawbreakers to justice is a basic principle. No one should be allowed to use “democracy” as a pretext to engage in unlawful activities and escape justice. Certain Western countries while forgetting the fact that they uphold their own national security through relevant judicial procedures, have made unwarranted criticisms over the fair enforcement of the national security law by Hong Kong’s court. This severely violates and tramples on the spirit of the rule of law. The Central Government firmly supports the Hong Kong SAR in safeguarding national security and punishing all acts that undermine national security in accordance with the law, and firmly opposes the interference of certain Western countries in China’s internal affairs and their attempt to smear and undermine Hong Kong’s rule of law by using relevant case.

President Xi Jinping said China’s development is an important part of the common development of the world. We have lifted 800 million people out of poverty, and met the poverty reduction target of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ahead of schedule. China’s story is proof that developing countries can eliminate poverty, and that a weaker bird can start early and fly high, when there is the endurance, perseverance, and striving spirit that enables water drops to penetrate rocks over time and turns blueprints into reality. If China can make it, other developing countries can make it too. This is what China’s battle against poverty says to the world.
习近平主席强调，中国始终是“全球南方”的一员，是发展中国家可靠的长期合作伙伴，也是支持全球发展事业的行动派和实干家，愿同广大发展中国家携手实现现代化。
President Xi Jinping stressed that China will always be a member of the Global South, a reliable long-term partner of fellow developing countries, and a doer and go-getter working for the cause of global development. 此次峰会上，习近平主席宣布了支持全球发展的八项行动，包括高质量共建“一带一路”、落实全球发展倡议、支持非洲发展、支持减贫和粮食安全国际合作、同有关各方共同发起“开放科学国际合作倡议”、支持二十国集团开展造福“全球南方”的务实合作、落实二十国集团“反腐败行动计划”、扩大对最不发达国家单边开放等。中方愿同各方一道行动起来，建设一个共同发展的公正世界，让贫困成为过去，让美好愿景成为现实。
At the summit, President Xi Jinping outlined China’s eight actions for global development, namely pursuing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, implementing the Global Development Initiative, supporting development in Africa, supporting international cooperation on poverty reduction and food security, proposing an Initiative on International Cooperation in Open Science, supporting the G20 in carrying out practical cooperation for the benefit of the Global South, implementing the G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan, and unilaterally opening our doors wider to the least developed countries. China is ready to take steps together with all parties to build a just world of common development, leave poverty in the past, and turn our vision into reality.
