中方在会谈中表示，中美双方要将落实两国元首巴厘岛会晤重要共识作为下阶段稳定和发展中美关系的主轴主线，坚持元首外交战略引领绝不动摇，落实两国元首会晤共识不打折扣，推进双边关系全过程管理决不放松，对外释放正确信号毫不含糊，本着对两国、世界和历史高度负责的态度，加强沟通对话，开展互利合作，妥善管控分歧，推动中美关系重回健康稳定正轨。零和博弈的冷战思维必须摒弃，意识形态对立和集团阵营对抗必须反对，脱钩断供和科技打压的错误做法必须停止。

The Chinese side noted during the talks that implementing the two leaders’ important common understandings reached in Bali should be front and center for both sides in stabilizing and growing China-US relations. Both sides need to firmly adhere to the strategic guidance of head-of-state diplomacy, follow through on the two presidents’ common understandings to the letter, spare no effort in the whole-process management of bilateral relations, and send an unequivocal positive message to the wider world. Both sides need to act with a great sense of responsibility to our two countries, the world and history, strengthen communication and dialogue, carry out mutually beneficial cooperation, properly manage differences and bring China-US relations back onto the track of sound and steady development. The zero-sum Cold War mentality must be abandoned, ideological antagonism and bloc confrontation must be rejected, and decoupling, supply disruption and sci-tech suppression must be stopped.

中方指出，中方不回避也不惧怕竞争，但反对以竞争定义整个中美关系，反对以竞争之名行遏制打压之实。美国有美国的价值观，中国有中国的价值观，应相互尊重，不能强加于人，更不能干涉别国内政。中方坚定维护以联合国为核心的国际体系、以国际法为基础的国际秩序和以联合国宪章宗旨和原则为基础的国际关系基本准则，不接受个别或少数几个国家捣鼓出来的所谓“规则”。中方依法处理有关人员个案，美方应尊重事实，尊重中国法治。

The Chinese side noted that China does not shy away or flinch from competition. However, the Chinese side is against defining the entire China-US relations by competition and seeking containment and suppression in the name of competition. The US and China have their respective sets of values. What the two sides should do is respect each other, instead of imposing its values on others, still less interfering in other countries’ internal affairs. China is committed to upholding the UN-centered international system, the international order underpinned by international law, and the basic norms governing international relations built on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. We do not accept the so-called “rules” defined by individual countries or a small group of them. China handles individual cases in accordance with the law, and the US should respect facts and the rule of law in China.
