汪文斌COP15第一阶段会议已于去年10月成功举行，为全球生物多样性治理提供了政治推动力。受新冠肺炎疫情全球蔓延影响，第二阶段会议不得不延期。目前，中方正与《生物多样性公约》秘书处及主席团就第二阶段会期进行协商。中方将继续履行主席国职责，与各方共同研究确定第二阶段会期和会址，并根据疫情形势积极开展筹备工作，确保第二阶段会议安全、成功举办，推动全球生物多样性治理迈上新台阶。
Wang Wenbin The first part of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 15) was successfully held last October, which renewed the political drive to advance global biodiversity governance. Due to the impact of COVID-19 worldwide, the second part of COP 15 has to be postponed. At present, China is having consultations with the CBD Secretariat and the presidium for the scheduling of the second part of the meeting. China will continue to perform its duties as the President and have discussions with all parties to determine the scheduling and location of the second part of the meeting. China will also make active preparations in light of the COVID situation to ensure a safe and successful second part and bring global biodiversity governance to a new level.
