We fully understand how hard it is for the Japanese people to say goodbye to Xiang Xiang. We would like to thank the Japanese people, in particular, the Ueno Zoo, for taking such good care of her. The cute cuddly pandas have brought so much joy to the Japanese people, especially the children. As ambassadors for friendship, they have made unique contributions to advancing the two people's friendly ties.
据了解，“香香”原计划今年底就要回国，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，现在可能难以按原计划回国。双方合作单位正在从大熊猫健康安全的角度出发加紧联系，协商确定“香香”返回中国的具体时间。我们希望也相信很快会有好消息。
