Hong Kong is China's Hong Kong. Hong Kong affairs are China's internal affairs. No foreign country has the right to make irresponsible remarks or interfere in Hong Kong's affairs. The US has grossly violated international law and basic norms governing international relations, interfered in China's internal affairs, and further exposed its sinister motive to undermine Hong Kong's prosperity and stability and contain China's development.
美方应纠正错误，停止以任何方式干预香港事务、干涉中国内政。如果美方一意孤行，中方必将采取坚决反制措施，捍卫国家主权安全利益，维护中国企业和有关人员的合法权益。
China urges the US side to correct its mistakes and stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs and other China's internal affairs in any way. If the US is bent on going this way, China will take resolute countermeasures to safeguard national sovereignty and security interests and the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies and the relevant personnel.

赵立坚首先，我对蓬佩奥对于中国的无端指责表示坚决反对和强烈谴责。作为世界上最大的发展中国家和负责任大国，中国长期同世界粮食计划署保持良好合作，积极在力所能及的范围内向计划署提供资金，支持其开展人道主义援助，提升全球粮食安全水平。2016年以来，中国政府共向计划署提供超过1.55亿美元捐款，双方共签署16份紧急粮食援助捐赠协议，为750多万人口提供紧急粮食援助。
Zhao Lijian First of all, I would like to express our firm opposition to and strong rejection of Pompeo's groundless accusations against China in his remarks. As the largest developing country and a responsible major country, China has long maintained good cooperation with the WFP, and actively provided funds within its capacity to the WFP to support its humanitarian assistance programs and improve global food security. Since 2016, the Chinese government has donated more than $155 million to the WFP, and the two sides have signed 16 agreements on emergency food aid donation, providing emergency food aid to more than 7.5 million people.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China has responded proactively to the initiatives of the United Nations and other international organizations, provided technical support and material assistance to countries affected by COVID-19 and locust plagues at their request, and provided emergency food aid to more than a dozen countries. At the same time, we have supported the establishment of ad hoc warehouses by Chinese enterprises working together with the WFP, and have delivered large quantities of anti-epidemic materials to more than 100 countries and regions.
粮食安全事关人类生存之本，也是落实2030年可持续发展议程的重要内容。我们呼吁各国加强合作，共同推动实现包括粮食安全在内的可持续发展目标。发达国家应按时足额履行官方发展援助义务，为发展中国家创造开放包容的发展环境，为发展中国家提供更多帮助。作为发展中国家，中方将继续同世界粮食计划署等各方一道，携手维护全球粮食安全，共同创造一个无饥饿、无贫困的世界。
Food security is fundamental to human survival and is an important part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We call on all countries to strengthen cooperation and work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, including on food security. Developed countries should fulfill their official development assistance obligations in full and on time, create an open and inclusive development environment for developing countries and provide them with more assistance. As a developing country, China will continue to work with the WFP and other parties to safeguard global food security and create a world free of hunger and poverty.
最后我要强调的是，对别国甩锅推责无法掩盖自身抗疫不力的事实。大搞单边主义、毁约、退群对多边主义和国际合作的破坏更是有目共睹。在这些问题上，世界人民的眼睛是雪亮的，国际社会自有公论。
Finally I would like to stress that scapegoating other countries cannot cover up a botched pandemic response at home. The damage to multilateralism and international cooperation caused by unilateralism and withdrawals from international treaties and organizations is witnessed by all. On all these issues, the world can see clearly and the international community has a fair judgment.

赵立坚中方一贯反对美国泛化国家安全概念、滥用国家力量，无理打压外国企业的霸权行径。美方应切实尊重市场经济和公平竞争原则，遵守国际经贸规则，为各国企业在美投资经营提供开放、公平、公正、非歧视的营商环境。中方将继续采取必要措施维护中国企业的正当权益。
Zhao Lijian China consistently opposes the bullying practice of the United States by abusing national security concept and state power to wantonly suppress foreign businesses. The United States should earnestly respect market economy and fair competition principles, abide by international trade rules, and provide an open, fair, just and non-discriminatory business environment for foreign companies investing and operating in the United States. China will continue to take necessary measures to safeguard Chinese businesses' legitimate rights and interests.
