答我们注意到有关报道，对美方有关动向严重关切。中方坚决反对美售台武器的立场是一贯、明确的。我们敦促美方充分认清售台武器问题的高度敏感性和严重危害性，恪守一个中国原则和中美三个联合公报规定，停止售台武器和美台军事联系，慎重妥善处理涉台问题，以免严重损害中美关系和台海和平稳定。
A We note the relevant reports and express serious concerns on the moves of the US side. China firmly, consistently and unequivocally opposes US arms sales to Taiwan. We urge the US to fully realize the high degree of sensitivity and severe impact of this issue and honor its commitment to the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiques. It needs to stop selling arms to or having military ties with Taiwan, handle Taiwan-related issues prudently and properly and avoid serious damage to bilateral relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.
