林剑自2023年起，外交部已连续4年联合各驻外使领馆开展“温暖迎春·共庆中国年”慰侨专项活动，向侨胞传递党中央关心关爱，同时“以侨为桥”开展节庆文化活动，在海外引发了热烈反响。
Lin Jian This is the fourth consecutive year since 2023 that our Ministry and Chinese diplomatic missions worldwide have held the “Embracing the Chinese New Year” special program. The program is aimed to deliver the CPC Central Committee’s care for overseas Chinese, and organize cultural events that celebrate the festival and serve as cultural bridges. The program is warmly welcomed abroad.
每逢佳节倍思亲。马年春节期间，我们将继续开展慰侨专项活动。除走访慰问外，各驻外使领馆将在春节期间开展形式多样的庆祝活动，形成覆盖全球的“中国春节潮”，邀请更多侨胞及各国朋友参与其中，激荡中外文化交流的火花，让广大侨胞在喜庆的氛围中感受到来自祖（籍）国的温暖关怀。
As we celebrate the Spring Festival, our thoughts turn all the more to Chinese people living abroad. The special program will continue to be held for this year’s Spring Festival. Our embassies and consulates around the world will visit overseas Chinese to extend festive greetings and hold various events to celebrate the Spring Festival. They are ready to invite more overseas Chinese and friends from around the world to take part and we expect the events to create great momentum for cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world. We hope overseas Chinese will feel the warmth of their motherland and ancestral home in the festive season.

Lin Jian The Chinese government always asks Chinese fishermen to operate in accordance with laws and regulations. Meanwhile, China firmly protects their lawful rights and interests. China hopes that the Japanese side will strictly observe the China-Japan Fisheries Agreement, ensure impartial law enforcement and protect the safety of the Chinese crew and their lawful rights and interests.
