At the meetings, Chairman Wang Huning shared information on the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, had a broad-based exchange of views with the Indonesian leader on issues of mutual interest, and extended sympathies on the deadly torrential rain and flooding in Sumatra. Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to the one-China principle and expressed its readiness to work with China to elevate bilateral relations to a new stage. Through the visit, the two countries have further deepened strategic mutual trust, promoted cooperation in trade, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, people’s livelihood and other fields, and enhanced the friendly ties between the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and relevant agencies in Indonesia. 此次中俄战略安全磋商期间，中俄双方就涉日本问题进行战略对表，达成高度共识，一致认为要坚定维护用生命和鲜血换来的二战胜利成果，坚决抵制任何为殖民侵略历史翻案的错误言行，坚决反击法西斯主义、日本军国主义卷土重来的图谋，承担起中俄作为大国和联合国安理会常任理事国的共同责任，维护世界和平与安全，维护历史真相和国际正义。中方愿同俄方继续协调配合，坚决遏止日本极右势力破坏地区和平稳定、企图再军事化的挑衅行径。

During this round of China-Russia strategic security consultation, the two sides compared strategic notes on issues related to Japan and reached strong consensus. China and Russia agreed on the need to firmly safeguard the fruits of the victory in World War II which cost the lives and blood of the people, reject any erroneous remarks and deeds that seek to change the verdict on colonialism and aggression, and firmly push back the attempt to revive Fascism and Japanese militarism. China and Russia share the view that the two countries are committed to their shared responsibility as major countries and permanent members of the UN Security Council to uphold world peace and security and defend the truth of history and international justice.
