台湾问题是中国核心利益中的核心，事关中日关系政治基础和日方基本信义，是不可逾越的红线。今年是中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年，也是台湾光复80周年。中方严肃敦促日方深刻反省历史罪责，恪守中日四个政治文件的有关原则和精神，以实际行动体现坚持一个中国原则的承诺，在台湾问题上谨言慎行，停止向“台独”分裂势力发出任何错误信号。

The Taiwan question is at the core of China’s core interests. It bears on the political foundation of China-Japan relations and the basic credibility of Japan, and is a red line that must not be crossed. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. It is also the 80th anniversary of the restoration of Taiwan. China seriously urges Japan to deeply reflect on its responsibility for the war crimes, abide by the principles and spirit of the four political documents between China and Japan, honor its commitments on upholding the one-China principle with concrete actions, stay prudent on the Taiwan question, and stop sending any wrong signal to “Taiwan independence” separatist forces.
