Mao Ning At the Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, leaders of participating countries had in-depth discussions on the prospect and measures of deepening cooperation among the SCO member states on trade and people-to-people and cultural exchange under the new circumstances, and reached important consensus.
李强总理在会上进一步阐释习近平主席提出的共建上合组织团结互信、和平安宁、繁荣发展、睦邻友好、公平正义“五个共同家园”重要意义，呼吁各方弘扬“上海精神”，加强团结协作，共同落实好元首会议共识。与会领导人高度评价中方为推动上合组织发展、促进地区和平稳定作出的重要贡献，表示将积极支持中方担任上合组织轮值主席国工作，继续在安全、经贸、投资、金融、互联互通、人文交流等领域深化合作，将上合组织打造成各国发展振兴、人民安居乐业的可靠依托。
Premier Li Qiang elaborated on the significance of building a common home of solidarity and mutual trust, peace and tranquility, prosperity and development, good-neighborliness and friendship, and fairness and justice proposed by President Xi Jinping, and called on all parties to carry forward the Shanghai Spirit, enhance solidarity and coordination, and jointly implement the consensus reached at the Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State. Leaders of participating countries spoke highly of China’s important contributions to SCO development and regional peace and stability. They expressed their active support for China as SCO’s rotating president and readiness to continue deepening cooperation in such areas as security, economic exchange and trade, investment, finance, connectivity, and people-to-people and cultural exchange, and make the SCO a reliable platform for all countries to pursue development, prosperity and better livelihood.

Mao Ning We also closely follow the developments on the Korean Peninsula. China’s position on the Korean Peninsula issue is consistent. We always believe that safeguarding peace and stability on the Peninsula and promoting the political settlement of the issue serves the common interests of all parties. It is also hoped that all parties will make constructive efforts to this end.

毛宁世界上只有一个中国，台湾是中国领土不可分割的一部分。中方坚决反对任何建交国同台湾进行任何形式的官方接触和往来，包括互设代表机构，已向印方提出严正交涉。
Mao Ning There is but one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory. China strongly opposes all forms of official contact and interaction between Taiwan and countries having diplomatic relations with China, including the establishment of representative offices for each other. We have lodged solemn representations to the Indian side.
一个中国原则是印方作出的严肃政治承诺，是中印关系的政治基础。中方敦促印方严格遵守承诺，慎重妥善处理涉台问题，不同台湾地区开展任何形式的官方往来，防止干扰中印关系改善进程。
The one-China principle is a serious political commitment made by the Indian side and serves as the political foundation for China-India relations. China urges the Indian side to strictly abide by the commitments it has made, prudently and properly settle the Taiwan-related issues, not to conduct any form of official interaction with Taiwan and avoid disturbing the process to improve the China-India relationship.
