与会多国外长赞同中方看法，强调应坚持多边主义，坚持东盟中心地位，不能搞地缘对抗和分裂对立，不希望地区国家被迫选边站队，不希望本地区成为大国博弈的角力场。

The foreign ministers of many participating countries agreed with China, stressing that multilateralism and ASEAN centrality should be upheld and geopolitical confrontation and division should be avoided. They do not want regional countries to be forced to take sides and do not want this region to become a wrestling ground for major powers.

答东亚合作机制是地区国家团结合作的重要平台，本应聚焦发展主题，注重务实合作。遗憾的是，个别域外国家总是和东盟国家唱反调，利用这一平台对他国内政指手画脚，谋求地缘政治私利。这次会议期间同样出现了这一现象。对此，王毅国务委员兼外长严正指出，不干涉内政是联合国宪章重要原则和国际关系基本准则，是广大发展中国家维护主权独立和正当权利的护身法宝。各国之间相互平等，可以本着相互尊重精神加强交流，增进了解，但不应将自己的好恶强加于人，更不应肆意干涉他国内政。针对美日等以人权为借口对中方污蔑抹黑，王毅强调，这些无理指责毫无根据，再次暴露出西方式的傲慢与偏执。王毅指出，时代已经改变，本地区已不再有“教师爷”，也不需要“救世主”，各国要把命运掌握在自己手中，地区前途应由各国共同开创。

A The East Asia cooperation mechanism is an important platform for solidarity and cooperation among countries in the region. It should focus on development and practical cooperation. Regrettably, certain countries outside the region are standing on the opposite side of ASEAN countries, using this platform to point their finger at other countries' internal affairs and seek their own geopolitical gains. The same thing happened during this series of meetings. In response, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi solemnly pointed out that non-interference in internal affairs is an important principle of the UN Charter and a basic norm governing international relations, and it helps developing countries uphold sovereignty, independence and legitimate rights. Being equal to each other, countries can enhance exchanges and understanding in the spirit of mutual respect, but they should not impose their own likes and dislikes on others, still less should they arbitrarily interfere in other countries' internal affairs. Regarding the smearing and denigration by countries like the US and Japan against China under the pretext of human rights, Wang stressed that these accusations are groundless and once again expose western-style arrogance and bigotry. He pointed out that as time goes by, the region no longer has "lecturers" or needs "saviors". Countries should grasp their future in their own hands and jointly create the prospect of the region.

总体看，此次东亚合作系列外长会总体气氛积极，增进了互信和合作，特别是中国—东盟（10+1）外长会充满团结合作的正能量。东盟各国外长纷纷祝贺中国共产党百年华诞，表示中国是理性、智慧和可依靠的力量，中国发展水涨船高，将给所有东盟国家发展带来新的更大机遇。双方高度评价中国东盟关系的积极进展，一致同意以中国东盟建立对话关系30周年为契机，打造更高水平的战略伙伴关系，为促进地区稳定发展繁荣共同做出贡献。

On the whole, the atmosphere of the foreign ministers' meetings on East Asia cooperation has been positive and enhanced mutual trust and cooperation. In particular, the ASEAN-China (10+1) Foreign Ministers' Meeting is full of positive energy of solidarity and cooperation. ASEAN foreign ministers congratulated the Communist Party of China (CPC) on its 100th anniversary, saying that China is a rational, wise and reliable force. China's development will bring new and greater opportunities to the development of all ASEAN countries. The two sides spoke highly of the positive progress in China-ASEAN relations and agreed to take the opportunity of the 30th anniversary of China-ASEAN dialogue relations to forge a strategic partnership at a higher level and make joint contributions to regional stability, development and prosperity.
