At the 73rd session of the World Health Assembly, President Xi Jinping pledged that once China successfully develops and deploys a COVID-19 vaccine, it will be made a global public good. It will be China's contribution to ensuring vaccine accessibility and affordability in developing countries. This is highly consistent with COVAX's efforts to ensure that all countries have equal access to appropriate, safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines.
