郭嘉昆APEC高官会是为领导人会议准备成果的主渠道，每年举办四到五次。中国作为2026年APEC东道主，将于2月1日至10日在广州举办APEC第一次高官会及相关会议。这是APEC“中国年”首场正式活动。本次会议将聚焦2026年APEC会议主题“建设亚太共同体，促进共同繁荣”和三大优先领域“开放、创新、合作”，全面启动各领域各机制合作，深入讨论具体合作，为11月领导人非正式会议积累成果。
Guo Jiakun APEC senior officials’ meetings, held four to five times every year, are the main channel for preparing outcomes for the leaders’ meeting. As the host of APEC in 2026, China will host the first APEC senior officials’ meeting and related meetings in Guangzhou from February 1 to 10. This will be the first official event of the APEC “China Year.” Focusing on the theme of the 2026 APEC “Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together” and the three priorities “openness, innovation and cooperation,” the meeting will launch cooperation across the board in all areas and through all mechanisms, have in-depth discussions on specific cooperation, and accumulate outcomes for the Economic Leaders’ Meeting in November.
会议期间将举办50多场活动，预计将有来自APEC各成员经济体、秘书处、工商咨询理事会等约1000名代表与会。目前各项筹备工作进展顺利。会议举办地广州历史悠久，是中国对外开放的重要窗口和粤港澳大湾区的核心城市。我们欢迎各位记者朋友关注并积极报道第一次高官会及相关会议，讲好APEC“中国年”的故事。

Guo Jiakun UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is on an official visit to China from January 28 to 31 upon invitation. The international landscape is witnessing turbulence and transformation. It serves the common interest of both peoples and contributes to global peace, stability and development for China and the UK, as two permanent members of the UN Security Council, to maintain communication and enhance cooperation. Prime Minister Starmer’s visit marks the first visit to China by a UK prime minister in eight years. During the visit, Chinese leaders will meet and have talks with him for in-depth exchanges of views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. Prime Minister Starmer will also visit Shanghai.
