Lin Jian Malaysia will host the ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials’ Meeting, East Asia Summit Senior Officials’ Meeting and ASEAN Regional Forum Senior Officials’ Meeting from June 10 to 11 in Penang as ASEAN’s rotating chair. Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong will lead a delegation to the meetings.
会议期间，各方将围绕“包容性和可持续性”主题，就推进各机制合作及共同关心的国际和地区问题交换意见，为今年东亚合作领导人系列会议和外长会预作准备。中方期待同与会各方深入交流，进一步凝聚共识、聚焦合作，为地区发展注入更多稳定性和正能量。
At the meetings, parties are expected to exchange views on advancing cooperation under those mechanisms and international and regional issues of mutual interest with a focus on the meetings’ theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.” The discussions will prepare the ground for this year’s leaders’ meetings and foreign ministers’ meetings on East Asian cooperation. China looks forward to having in-depth communication at the SOM meetings to further build consensus, focus on cooperation, and inject more stability and positive energy into regional development.
