答6月22日大地震是阿富汗20多年来发生的最严重地震，已造成至少1500多人死亡，2000多人受伤，3000多间房屋被毁，死伤人数仍在进一步上升。地震发生后，中国政府决定向阿富汗提供5000万元人民币的紧急人道主义援助，包括帐篷、毛巾被、折叠床等阿富汗灾民急需的物资，首批计划于27日通过包机启运。下一步，中方将同阿富汗临时政府密切协调，确保救灾物资第一时间送到灾民手中，帮助阿人民渡过当前难关。
A The strong earthquake that shook Afghanistan on June 22 is the most devastating quake the country has experienced in the past 20 years. It has killed at least 1,500 people, injured more than 2,000 and destroyed over 3,000 houses. The number of casualties is still rising. Right after the earthquake, the Chinese government decided to provide 50 million RMB yuan worth of emergency humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, including tents, sleep blankets, camp beds and other supplies urgently needed in quake-hit areas. The first batch of those supplies is scheduled to depart for Afghanistan by charter flights on June 27. In the next few days, China will coordinate closely with the Afghan interim government to ensure the rapid delivery of the relief supplies into the hands of the people in need.
