Mao Ning I won’t comment on the specific actions taken by any company. The US has yet to produce any evidence to prove that TikTok is a threat to US national security, but it has been suppressing the company based on presumption of guilt. This is a hegemonic and bullying act of overstretching the concept of national security and abusing state power to keep foreign companies down. This is an unpopular move which is not what the American people want and hurts US reputation. We call on the US to earnestly respect the principles of market economy and fair competition, stop going after foreign companies, and instead provide an open, fair, just and non-discriminatory environment for foreign businesses in the US.
