Since 2019, Chinese regulators have communicated with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) on the plan of joint inspections for multiple times, demonstrating full sincerity for cooperation. China has never prohibited or prevented relevant accounting firms from providing audit working papers to overseas regulators. With a view to creating a favorable environment for the healthy and orderly operation of the global capital market, China and the US should carry out dialogue and cooperation in an open and candid manner based on their common interests. This is the right way to solve the problem.
